LaMichael James 'stoked' about 49ers' second-round draft call

By Rob Moseley By The Register-Guard NEW YORK — Oregon's LaMichael James, the school's all-time leading rusher, was chosen by the San Francisco 49ers with the 29th pick of the second round of the 2012 NFL draft on Friday. James, a Heisman Trophy

James is the first Duck to be selected in the second round or higher since T.J. Ward in 2010, and the pick sent Twitter into a frenzy.

LaMichael James is a San Francisco 49er! Its an interesting place for many reasons, as he will now be coached by Jim Harbaugh, and still terrorize fans in Seattle. He should make an excellent compliment to Frank Gore.
