Mitt Romney wins Guam, Northern Mariana Islands caucuses

SAIPAN, Northern Mariana Islands (AP) – Another victory for presidential hopeful Mitt Romney. He's won the Republican caucus in the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands, picking up nine delegates from the US territory.

Before the results are announced for the Republican caucuses in Kansas, it was confirmed that former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney would pick nine delegates in Guam and another nine in the Northern Mariana

One thing that should be noted in all of this — before the inevitable uproar over why these places have delegates — is that neither Guam nor the Northern Mariana Islands are winner-take-all contests. It just looks that way now
